Two years ago at Cambridge University Dr. Tomas Goldstein and his assistant Donald Hampton, from the Child's Psychology department, had come out with a splendid tool to help young children, four to five years old, to develop their social, verbal and even their mathematical skills. In their innovative research Dr. Goldstein and Hampton tested a group which consisted of more than two hundred subjects at the ages of four to five. The subjects were from all socio-economic sectors thus making the research as objective as can. In the beginning of the test the children were introduced to online backgammon in online casinos but they were not given the opportunity to play it online. After the introduction of online backgammon to the children they were tested to point out their current social, verbal and mathematical skills when their response time was given a crucial element in the final score's factors.
Shortly after the test the main group divided into two small groups. The first group had been taught the basic rules of online backgammon and was given free internet access for two month. In this two months they had to play at least onetime a day at free online casinos. The second group had elementary lessons which should have, according to acknowledged theories, boosted their test scores.
